On balmy, full-moon evenings, (locally called Chitra Pournami) one can also see the moon-rise and sunset at the same time – on both sides of the horizon.
If you are visiting Kanyakumari, one thing to keep note of is that you reach there well before morning 5:00 A.M and the last Ferry to the island is scheduled to be at 5:00 P.M evening...
